I have the same affliction! I visited HABU once in NYC. It was amazing. I just stood there and touched all the fibers (it is so tiny you can stand in one spot and see it all) and wanted EVERYTHING. It was completely overwhelming. Then I ordered their catalog, which lists all the "yarns" and gives you a sample of each one in each color. It is a wonderful resource. The paper yarn is one of my favorites. Martha ps-this says it's 4:20am! I know I get up early but....

yes! one of my current obsessions! have you ordered any from them yet?
found your blog from flickr, can't wait to read more!
i've just recently purchased my first and they are amazing, at the risk of sounding obscure they remind me of little nests, i'm obsessed too!
I'm glad I'm not alone!
M--I'm jealous! HABU is definitely on my list of places to go when next in NYC.
J--not yet! But came SO CLOSE two nights ago. Like Martha, the paper yarn is tops for me.
S--Doesn't sound obscure! They ARE nest-like! Makes me want to buy a spinning wheel and brush up on my natural dying.
